Overview

The support site provides step-by-step instructions on how to use 3Sixty. Within this site you will find step-by-step instructions on the creating jobs in 3Sixty Admin and Using Discovery for Federated Search and Records Management.

Integration Tutorials

Document Duplication Detection and Reporting: There may be a need to identify duplicate documents in your enterprise and 3Sixty allows you to identify these duplicate documents in a variety of ways.

Event Job Tutorial: This tutorial will walk you through setting up an event job that will process one or more documents.

Job Groups: Job groups allow you to group jobs into logical groups that you can then schedule together. You can also filter job lists on these groups.

Mapping Groups: Mapping groups allow you to group integration job mappings into logical groups that you can then manage together.

PII Detection and Reporting: While doing a document integration or synchronisation it may be prudent to check the document, or it's metadata for PII. You can also crawl you content simply for PII by using our reporting output connector with any repository connector that we support.

Properties File Discovery: If you ever have the situation where Discovery can't automatically find your fields, but you know they will be there, then you can create your own mappings with a properties file.

REST MIP Job Tutorial: This tutorial will guide you through setting up a Manage in Place Job between SharePoint Online and Alfresco. This tutorial can be used for other repository connection types than SharePoint. Just do steps 1 - 5 with the repository of your choice instead of SharePoint REST.

Setting Up An MIP Incremental Scheduled Job Using SharePoint to Alfresco With Differing Timezones: This tutorial will detail the steps taken to set up an incremental job that runs on a scheduler. This job's repository and output have differing timezones. In this example SharePoint will be used as the repository and will be set to GMT 0:00. The output will be Alfresco, set up on a server running in EST. If using other connectors, skip the Setting Up Connectors section

Setting Up an Incremental Schedule: This tutorial will detail the steps taken to set up an incremental job that runs on a scheduler. This job's repository and output have differing timezones. In this example SharePoint will be used as the repository and will be set to GMT 0:00.

Task Groups: Task groups are savable collections of tasks that can be added to jobs. The user interface works much like the task interface for jobs.

Throttling: In software, a throttling process, or a throttling controller as it is sometimes called, isa process responsible for regulating the rate at which application processing is conducted, either statically or dynamically.

Tomcat SSL: An outline of the steps you need to take to generate or install a certificate and enable the necessary ports for the Tomcat SSL protocol.

Content Service

Setting up your Repository as a Content Service will allow you to manage your data in Discovery

Discovery

Discovery allows users to view their data across multiple sources in one easy to use platform.

  • Setting Up Federation Search: This tutorial will walk you through the steps necessary to begin using 3Sixty's Federation Search including creating connectors, indexing jobs and configuring your view.

  • 3Sixty Mapping: Before you start, be sure you are familiar with creating jobs and discovery. Both are integral to mapping.

  • Setting up MIP end to end

  • Setting Up An MIP Incremental Scheduled Job Using SharePoint to Alfresco With Differing Timezones: This tutorial will detail the steps taken to set up an incremental job that runs on a scheduler. This job's repository and output have differing timezones. In this example SharePoint will be used as the repository and will be set to GMT 0:00. The output will be Alfresco, set up on a server running in EST. If using other connectors, skip the Setting Up Connectors section

  • Testing Content Services With Postman: In order to test content services, we recommend using Postman.

  • LDAP Configuration: 3Sixty supports authentication via a third party directory server. This page provides steps on setting up the LDAP authentication needed.
