Edit an application
You can edit applications that are in the Draft state. You can change any information or selection on a draft application. You can edit limited content on a submitted application when responding to a request for more information.
Locked applications
When you start the submission process for an application, Objective Build locks the application to ensure the integrity of your application throughout the vetting and lodgement process. Locked applications have this status icon:
Responding to requests for further information
If the building consent authority (BCA) needs more information before it can lodge your application, BCA staff send you a vetting request for information (VRFI). You can edit most details of your application at this point, except the address or existing attached documents (you can attach a new document to your VRFI).
Amending consents
If you want to make changes to your consented building work, this is called an amendment. All amendments must be approved and recorded by the building BCA. See Amend a consent.
