Application | Forms / Applications

For a new application, you can view the original application via the application's Forms tab. For a consent, you can view all the application forms for a consent from the Applications tab, including the original application form.

From this tab you can:

  • Edit open applications

  • Preview and download submitted application forms

  • Duplicate a consent application

  • Save a consent application as a template to create new applications

  • Archive an application

To access the Forms / Applications tab, select an application in your Dashboard or Projects pages to open the application Overview.

On an application, the tab is called Forms and gives you access to the submitted application form.

On a consent, the tab is called Applications and shows all the application forms associated with the consent. This includes the consent application and any child applications such as amendments and support applications.

Tools and options

Actions |  Save this as a template

Save the current application to your template library as the basis for new applications.

... View submitted form

Open the selected application form's Review summary to see what was input to the application form.

...   Preview summary PDF

Open the selected application submission in a PDF viewer. From here you can print or download the submission.

... Download summary PDF

Download the selected application PDF.

...   View and edit Form

For a draft form or a submitted form that is open for edit, select to edit the form.

...   Duplicate

Quick start a draft application by duplicating the selected application.

... Save as Template

Save the selected application to your Templates library as the basis for new applications.

...   Archive

Send the selected application to the archive. The application moves to the Projects | Archived list.

Status indicators

Once submitted, the application is locked and status indicates show stage and status of the application in the building consent process

Draft child applications that are not yet submitted.


For a submitted application, if the authority issues an RFI during the lodgement stage, then the system opens the application for you to edit and submit changes if required.

The application has been rejected by the BCA. The rejection reason is shown when available.

The application has been submitted to the BCA for vetting.
