Code compliance certificate (Form 6)
What is this application for?
A formal document from a local council confirming that building work has been completed in accordance with the building consent and Building Code. It is the final step in the building consent process, and a council issues it after a final inspection to ensure the work is safe, durable, and healthy.

Application process

Start a Supporting application

Enter the site address
Tip: Type the site address and a list of suggested locations will appear. You can also enter the address manually by selecting Enter address manually, this also provides the ability to switch to a different Authority.

Complete each question in the order they are displayed

to move through the pages -
As you move through the application questions, the progress will be displayed on the left side of the screen

Within the People and Roles section, you have the ability to edit mandatory participants and/or add other participants

Add the details of the Licensed building practitioner who completed the building work and click Save

To add additional practitioners click on Add LBP

Once all questions have been answered click on Submit

Complete the declaration and click Accept

A confirmation message is displayed outlining next steps for your application
