Content Cleansing and Migration into Objective ECM Using 3Sixty

Migration Job

Scenario: While migrating data from Filesystem into Objective ECM we want to do the following:

  • Remove trivial and obsolete data

  • Redact Personal Information

Step 1: Create Input and Output Connections

  • Filesystem Integration Connection

  • SharePoint Authentication and Integration Connections

  • Objective ECM Authentication and Integration Connections

Connector Configurations

Step 2: Create 2 Migration jobs

One job will use Filesystem as the source and the other job will use SharePoint. Both will use ECM as the destination.

  1. Add the connectors that 3Sixty will use to read, flag, and migrate content.

    1. Repository: Filesystem, SharePoint integration connections

    2. Output: Objective ECM Integration

  2. Add the tasks in the following order, as 3Sixty processes tasks sequentially based on their listed order.

    1. Tika Text Extraction will let 3Sixty read the content. This must be the first task listed

    2. PII Detection will search for sensitive data based on your set criteria

    3. Redaction will redact any sensitive information found

    4. Trivial Detection will flag any content you decide is unnecessary

    5. Obsolete Detection will flag any old files based on the date you set

Step 3: Run and Monitor the Job

This is the final step and will migrate the clean and redacted set of files into your Objective ECM.
